Sussex Central High School
Sussex Central High School, part of the Indian River School District, is a public Title I high school located in Sussex County, Delaware. Serving over 2,000 students, Sussex Central prides itself on fostering a diverse and dynamic community while preparing students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.
The faculty and staff are committed to delivering a student-centered curriculum through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. Using a systems-based approach, the dedicated Sussex Central staff provide targeted interventions informed by collaborative work in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), MTSS frameworks, and guidance from the Building Leadership Team and central office support staff.
