At Odessa High, you'll find a team of highly qualified educators - in academics, athletics and the arts - who are passionate about helping students engage deeply in their own learning. Staff share ideas, resources and knowledge; facilitate deep discussion and problem-solving challenges; and give teens the space and support they need to expand their imagination, uncover their talents, and gain confidence in their abilities.

Creative self-expression is nurtured through interactions with visiting artists and opportunities to study and learn with successful professionals from a multitude of career pathways. These expert guides to the world of work will lead master classes, offer co-curricular activities, provide mentoring, advisement and opportunities for students to network with successful professionals.

Our goal for students is that they stretch themselves, explore their interests and learn new things. If a young person has already determined that s/he wants to focus on a specific area like theatre, medicine, music, science, language arts, dance, history or the social sciences - we'll support that. But if, like most teens, they're still considering a myriad of career opportunities to find the right fit, we'll design a program that provides chances to learn and grow in multiple disciplines.
