The Mission of the bi-state Delmar School District is to provide all students with the opportunity to build twenty-first century skills, develop a sense of social responsibility, embrace cultural diversity, and to foster intellectual growth through academic excellence, the arts, and athletics.
Our Vision
The Delmar School District endeavors to
Prepare students to become citizens of competence, conscience, and compassion to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century;
Serve as a catalyst to promote twenty-first century readiness by developing and building collaborative partnerships among education, businesses, community, and government;
Believe in educational opportunities for all students by providing rigorous coursework and career challenges in order to graduate students who are ready to enter a globally competitive workforce;
Recognizes that a twenty-first century classroom will provide students with informational literacy skills, exposure to emerging technologies, and the development of technological skills necessary to meet the needs of a global society;
Recognizes the individuality of each student and will strive to develop his/her maximum potential to assist them to become a whole person within a safe and supportive learning environment;
Recognizes that the home, school district, community, civic, and faith-based organizations, and related state and federal organizations must work together to provide students with a twenty-first century education.

The Delmar School District believes:

Each students has the ability to learn and be successful and must assume the responsibility for achieving one's own potential;

The family, school, community, civic, and faith-based organizations should share collectively in the process of guiding our students toward twenty-first century readiness;
That every student is unique, and therefore, we must provide challenging, relevant, and differentiated learning;
Education is a life-long learning process which prepares an individual to lead a fulfilling life and become a productive member of society;
The school district must strive to meet the individual needs of every student and provide a positive learning environment which nurtures each student's desire to be successful physically, intellectually, and socially;
Parents and guardians in partnership with the Delmar School District will assume the responsibility of preparing students for academic success.
