Founded in 2003, the Delaware Military Academy is the only charter high school in the United States based on the traditions, values, and ideals of the U.S. Navy. Although academics are the backbone of any educational organization, leadership is the muscle of DMA. Cadets learn through a structured, traditional military school environment including self-discipline, motivation, and activities that enable our students to become productive citizens in a vastly changing technological society.

At DMA, we consider it a deep responsibility and an utmost privilege to provide a holistic, well-rounded, inclusive high school experience to our cadets as we prepare them for their next step in post-secondary education, the armed forces, or the private sector. We are committed to nurturing the potential within each cadet, fostering qualities that will empower them to excel as leaders, citizens, and learners, ensuring a promising path ahead.
